  • Candidates upto 5500th position based on academic scores will be called for admission test.
  • Rules for tie breaking in academic score are:

Combined Merit List

  • Host Country students must have to appear in the Admission Test.
  • Total marks obtained in the admission test will be considered as the Test Score.
  • The combined merit list will be prepared based on the Test score

ACADEMIC SCORE CALCULATION (100 Marks)

  • Grade Point Average (GPA) based on the grade point (GP) of selected subjects in
    • SSC/Equivalent (SSC-GPA)
    • HSC/Equivalent (HSC-GPA)

Academic Score Calculation
  • Marks are only converted to grades if and only if the transcript does not provide the grades.

TIE BREAKING IN MERIT POSITION WITH EQUAL Test SCORE

  • Following criteria (in order of appearance) will be followed to break the tie in the combined merit list.
    1. Test Math
    2. Test Physics
    3. Test Chemistry
    4. HSC-GPA
    5. HSC Math
    6. HSC Physics
    7. HSC Chemistry
    8. SSC Math
    9. SSC Physics

Bachelor of Tourism and Hospitality Technology


For Host Country

  • Candidates upto 500th position based on academic scores will be called for admission test.
  • Rules for tie breaking in academic score are:

    2. SSC ICT
    3. SSC English
    4. SSC Bangla
    5. SSC Islam and Moral Science

BTHT Merit List

  • Separated merit list will be prepared for this program
  • Host Country students must have to appear in the Admission Test.
  • Total marks obtained in the admission test will be considered as the BTHT Test Score.

ACADEMIC SCORE CALCULATION (100 Marks)

  • Grade Point Average (GPA) based on the grade point (GP) of selected subjects in
    • SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent (HSC-GPA) Academic Score = SSC GPA *8 + HSC GPA *12
    • SSC/Equivalent and Diploma Academic Score = SSC GPA * 8 + Diploma GPA (out of 4) * 15
    • GCE O/A level Academic Score = selected subject's GPA of O level * 8 + selected subject's GPA of A level * 12
  • selected subjects of A level: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English(O level)
  • selected subjects of O level: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English and another Subject

TIE BREAKING IN MERIT POSITION WITH EQUAL BTHT Merit SCORE

  • Following criteria (in order of appearance) will be followed to break the tie in the BTHT Merit list.

    2. Test English and Communication
    3. SSC Math
    4. SSC ICT
    5. SSC English
    6. SSC Bangla
    7. SSC Islam and Moral Science
 

Technical Education

Department will sort the prospective candidates and the admission Committee will select the candidates for admission offer.

 

Postgraduate Programmes


 

Master of Science/Engineering (M.Sc.) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

The final selection of a candidate will be made by the relevant Post Graduate Committee (PGC) in each department, which may also prescribe the required prerequisites to be completed by the candidate before continuing the normal programme, if necessary.
