ADMISSION OFFER (Sixth Call for Self Financed Scheme)

Instructions for Admission

• Each of the candidates selected for Self-financed scheme will have to pay US$5,100 or equivalent Bangladeshi Taka @ buying T.T clean rate published by AB Bank Ltd. on the date of admission as the first installment during 24 - 31 August 2026 (11:00 AM - 3:00 PM), failing of which will make this provisional selection automatically cancelled and vacant seat(s) will be filled up by candidate(s) from the next available merit position. Furthermore, candidates who will get the residential facilities will have to pay additional US $1,500 or equivalent Bangladeshi Taka @ buying T.T clean rate published by AB Bank Ltd on the date of Payment later on. The US Dollar buying T.T clean rate of AB Bank Ltd. will be published in IUT admission website on or after 11:00 AM every day.
• Each selected candidate has to pay the amount according to the schemes given in the table below. Self-financed residential students have to pay US $20,100 and non-residential students have to pay US $14,100 in total in four installments. At the start of the subsequent academic years, they have to pay as per the table shown below.
• After payment of the fees, candidates should confirm his/her admission by email (processing@iut-dhaka.edu).

  OPTION-1:
  Payment may be made in cash at any branch of AB Bank Ltd. to the following Bank Account of the University.

  OPTION-2:
  Payment may also be made from any other scheduled bank of Bangladesh through only RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement) fund transfer system to be credited to the below mentioned Bank Account of the University. BEFTN, NPSB and Mobile Transfer are not allowed.

  • In case of RTGS fund transfer, please provide us the Account Holder Name, Applicant Name, Roll number and Merit for easy tracking of the transaction.
  • IUT will use Conversion rate for 1 USD = buying T.T clean rate of AB bank Ltd throughout the admission process. (for 31 August 26, 1 USD = 122.4500 BDT)
  • After the payment through any of the above methods, candidate should write his/her Name, Merit Position, Admission Test Roll No. and Mobile No. on the deposit slip/RTGS acknowledgement slip (please mention Accounts holder Name) in Block Letters using black pen and then send the scanned (or photo) copy of the deposit slip/ RTGS acknowledgement slip to the email address processing@iut-dhaka.edu within deadline, during 24 - 31 August 2026 (within 4.00 PM). After sending the email wait for at least 02 (two) hours to get the status in the applicants dashboard, otherwise call IUT accounts office (between 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM) over phone (01844056020, 8802-996691254 to 996691259 ext. 3284 / 3325) to confirm. Candidates are needed to submit the original deposit slip/ RTGS acknowledgement slip during Registration for getting the Money receipt from University Finance & Accounts Office which will be declared later.

• If a selected applicant failed to complete the payment of the admission fee in time for any reason, he/she will be eliminated from the admission process.

NB: To expedite the admission process, based on the number of admitted students in the previous admission calls, 17 additional candidates for the BBA(TM) programme have been called. Note that this will not increase the number of seats of the mentioned programmes.
